Die-In Events
We worked with the NC Poor People's Campaign over the weekend, 12/13/25, to host a Die In event in both Eden in front of UNC Rockingham Hospital and Greensboro in front of Cone Hospital. Nearly one million North Carolinians are about to have sticker shock with their health insurance premiums, which are set to skyrocket — in some cases by well over 100%. Tens of thousands risk losing their coverage entirely. Too many will be forced to choose between basic necessities and their health.
We call on our elected leaders — in Washington and here at home — to remember who they serve. Extend the subsidies. Protect not just individuals, but entire communities. Uphold the dignity and security of working people and families across this country — including the rural towns whose hospitals are the backbone of local health care and local economies.
