The #GuilfordCounty Democratic Delegation to the NCGA will be hosting monthly town halls to discuss the disastrous state budget! This first one is scheduled for September 30th at 6pm at New Light Missionary Baptist Church.

GOP leaders are months overdue to pass a budget for our state. $33 BILLION dollars and no plan for how we are using your taxpayer dollars to invest back into our state. Instead, we are stuck with numbers that were accurate for the 2023-2024 budget, which is woefully insufficient today. How does that impact you?

- If you are a teacher or state employee, sadly no WELL-DESERVED raises.

- If you are a driver, no comprehensive update to our DMV fiasco

- If you are a nonprofit, no additional funding to support your efforts despite being stripped of dire help at the federal level.

The list sadly goes on. This matters to us all.
