Monday Meetup: Walking the Walk - How We Win in 2026 and Beyond

Join us as we host a conversation with a longtime partner of Indivisible Guilford County - Flip NC! Based in Durham, FLIP NC is an all-volunteer, grassroots organization formed over beers back in 2017 by friends frustrated by a North Carolina political landscape that is not representative of the people. They use targeted, direct voter outreach to left-leaning voters to elect progressive candidates in North Carolina and have a proven track record of making change happen.

They re-focused in 2024 to highlight the importance of the judiciary and contributed to getting NC Supreme Court Justice Allison Riggs over the finish line! Founders Briana and Amy will go through the data from 2024 to help lay out a plan for 2026 and beyond.

We will be joined by special guest - NC Supreme Court Justice Anita Earls - who will be up for re-election in 2026.

Food and drinks provided.

This event is taking place in the Parish Hall of St. Francis Episcopal Church. Parking is in the back of the church.

We will have Monday Meetups on the SECOND Monday of each month! Got an idea for a topic or belong to a group that would like to collaborate? Email info@indivisiblegco.com.

WE PROTEST FOR FREEDOM!

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the start of the American Revolution, let our voices echo around the world. Let us stand together and remind our government that the rights of Americans are inalienable—they are our fundamental rights, enshrined by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Let’s also stand up for free thought! We will be collecting books for a children's book drive—please bring children's books to the protest! All subjects are welcome, but we especially encourage books that are diverse in authorship and content.

This peaceful assembly will demonstrate that being a proud American means standing up for our rights and treating everyone within our borders with dignity and respect.

We'll even set up a kind of "activism speed dating" so you can learn about who's doing what, and how to find a fit for your own skills and interests.

Whether you’re a long-time activist or total newbie, there’s a place for you. Let us help you find a way to channel your anger or alarm into action!

North Carolina will be particularly hard hit by cuts to science, given the large amount of tech and research in the Triangle: Duke alone is facing a nearly $200 million annual reduction in funding.
