Friends in Action of New Garden Friends Meeting, will host a community-wide ICE Watch Training.

This training, conducted by SiembraNC, prepares attendees to "verify" reports of the presence of ICE agents locally. This "verification" allows Siembra to provide reliable information to members of our community that it is safe to go out - to work, to school, to shop. The training also provides basic information about Fourth Amendment and other rights. Even if you decide not to be a verifier at this time, there is value to the training in knowing what to do and how to be of support to our neighbors.
