Datacenter Impact Talk at the Gsbo Sustainability Council

  • J. Edward Kitchen Operations Center 2602 South Elm-Eugene Street Greensboro, North Carolina, 27406 United States (map)

Come learn about the health, environmental, and safety impacts that hyperscale datacenters could create in our own community, and why we need a longer moratorium than the 6-month pause recently approved by our city council. This meeting will feature a presentation from Aidan Loretz, Environmental Justice (EJ) Community Organizer with Haw River Assembly, representing the Protect Guilford County: Data Center Moratorium Coalition. More info here.

If you would like to present a public comment, please email the council with your comment by noon on Aug. 10.

Can't make it but want to join in virtually? Email the council by 9 am on Aug. 10 for a zoom link.
