Now is the time to speak up about how redistricting impacts our communities and our access to resources, representation, and responsive leadership. The NC Counts Coalition (including Common Cause NC) and partners are hosting the People’s Hearing this week to give North Carolinians a chance to learn about the new redistricting maps, share experiences, and make their voices heard. In response to the legislature’s lack of public hearings, these virtual events will ensure communities statewide have a space to be informed and speak out about how redistricting affects their daily lives.
