We will be joined by Margaret Rowlette, who will be leading a discussion on how to be an effective activist in overwhelming times! In a world that feels heavier by the day, staying active, hopeful, and engaged can feel like an impossible task with the weight of it all — the news, the burnout, the endless fight for justice. Margaret will lead a discussion on reflection, renewal, and reconnection. Through conversation, storytelling, and guided practices, we’ll explore how to sustain our work without losing ourselves in the process.

Together, we’ll learn from experienced changemakers who have faced exhaustion and despair, yet continue to rise — not through relentless effort, but through rest, community, and purpose. We’ll discuss strategies for resilience, boundary-setting, and collective care, reminding ourselves that being an activist is not just about resistance, but also about healing.

Come as you are — tired, hopeful, uncertain, determined. Leave with tools, connections, and a renewed sense that even in overwhelming times, you are not alone!

Food and drinks provided! Bring a friend!

We will have Monday Meetups on the SECOND Monday (usually) of each month! Got an idea for a topic or belong to a group that would like to collaborate? Email joelg@indivisiblegco.com.
